The bar charges $ 25 for an attorney referral where I live. I tried it once and didn't like their referral. Is there a website I can post my issue and then get a response from attorneys who feel qualified to take it? This is in Orange County, CA.
For example if someone has a case within a nonconventional field where it's hard to find a lawyer that practices or specializes in it. That's my situation.

No. lawyers do not have any need to clamor on line for clients.

Most attorneys do not charge for the first visit.

Lawyers are pretty firm. It you need a defense you can pay for one. But it is very unlikely lawyers will take a civil suit on contigency.

The process is fairly universal, specialization would usually invovle easier access to records and individuals needed for depositions and such.

You could also start with your local college law clubs. Sometimes they may take a look at your case, and at least do an analysis. If it is interesting then it may be a topic of interest.
