What do you expect when you call your expensive solicitor? What do you want to happen? How do they get it wrong? Snappy secretary?

I expect to be able to speak with the solicitor personally - leave a message with the secretary and/or his voice mail. If the secretary tells me the solicitor is in trial, then I ask to have the message passed along. If the solicitor is in trial and my issue isn't an emergency, I wouldn't expect a return call for at least 1 week.
If one week has passed and no response, I contact the solicitor again - and leave another message - both with the secretary and on his voice mail.
