"Full coverage" does not mean you are fully covered.

It means, at the minimum, that you have state minimum mandatory coverage, plus collision with a deductible, plus comprehensive with a deductible.

So, if your state doesn't require liability coverage - FL comes immediately to mind - your "full coverage" policy might not have injury to others. If your state doesn't require PIP or medical payments, your "full coverage" policy might not have any injury coverage for people inside your car.

Go talk to your agent, to ask what YOUR policy covers. Or read the declarations page.

Full coverage does not automatically mean that injury claims are covered. It just means that your car will be covered if you get into an accident or if your car was damaged by other means.

personal injury protection is the coverage for any injuries, regardless of fault. full coverage covers your vehicle if you hit another car (collision) or animal, public property etc (comprehensive).

if the accident is not at fault, the negligent party is responsible for injuries.
