But, if you have to question it, it's better off not lying. If you're lying about an injury to get money, it's fraud. Which is not a nice crime.

Yes, they have investigators for this purpose. I worked as a paralegal in a very busy law office and I had to deal with this all the time. Even if your claim seems somewhat insignificant, they look into it, and yes, they do take it very seriously if you lie.

it depends on the injury.most insurance claims ask for a complete doctor's report.also if they may request that you see one of their doctors if they feel you are faking it.they have to look out for their best interest.
