I was involved in a car accident about 3 month ago. I got rearended. It was not my fault. Since then i have been going to the chiropractic and doctor. I have been going to the chiropractic 3 times a week for 3 months. It is really time consuming and annoying goint thru this. We sustained back and neck pain but now thanks to the treatment we have been getting better. Does anyone know how the compensation work? Around how much we are gonna get for pain and suffering? We have a lawyer who will be taking 33%. Thank you. We are in Massacchusetts State.

Keep your fingers crossed that the person had good coverage. If the person who hit you had only minimum coverage's then you could get as little as $ 20,000 before your lawyers fees. However, if there are good levels of coverage the sky and pretty much be the limit it could be 2,000,000 or more. I wouldn't count on hitting it rich though. There are lots of claims like this nowadays that are fraudulent and this hurts your chances of have a crazy high payout.
