I told the judge that I will hire a lawyer because I have a lawyer in mind that I want to use, but am not sure I will get the money in time, If I am not able to hire him by the day of trial, what will happened, will I have to represent myself, or will they give me more time or will they have a court appointet lawyer represent me.

You may get more time, you may also be assigned an attorney you wish you didn't get assigned to you, or maybe you'll get the money and have the lawyer of your choice when your next court appearance comes up.

Well as the miranda rights say "A lawyer will be appointed to you" Then your assigned a public attorney which is not your best bet so make sure you get the money.

They will reschedule your court date or have a public defender step in. If you know that you are not going to have an attorney , you need to talk to the public defenders office immediately so they can present a strong defense in your case or have their options presented to the judge. Best of luck in your case.
