I've had an accident recently and as a result I have pains in my neck from where I was thrown forward and back in the car, Im also not allowed at work at the moment and it wa the other drivers fault, I have to claim as I've list earnings and this is very painful, but I don't want to use one of the companies like national accident helpline ect, is it possible to contact the insurance company of the driver at fault to reach a settlement so this doesn't have to go to court and end up costing people loads of money and time?
I was the passenger by the way.
Thank you to everyone who answers

Sure it's possible.
Keep in mind, what you're "entitled" to will depend heavily on the tort laws of your state. Many states, those minor neck pains (muscle strain) aren't worth anything besides the medical bills.
