An absurd question..its like asking for a list of all the accountants in India. There must at least 150,000 solicitors in the UK.

Nobody is going to send you such a list. Go to www.yell.co.uk and search for 'solicitors'. It will list 100, which is nowhere near all the ones in the country but surely enough for you.
