my mum got hit by a car on a zebra crossing by a boy racer who was speeding.
broke her leg in two places, her forearm, her shoulder, her ribs, had to have stitches on her head, loadss of bruising.
there was bad nerve damage in her shoulder after the break and now even though its healed she cant lift her arm! so she couldnt do her job and had to get a new one which was less hard work (less money)
she also gets bad pains in the leg she broke.
also her dad (my grandad) was ill with cancer over the monthes that my mum was hurt (she couldnt walk for ages and was just in bed all the time) so she couldnt help my nan look after him, he passed away while my mum was still badly hurt so she didnt get to spend the last few monthes with him. single mum with 2 kids.
taking all this into consideration how much money do you reckon she would get from a claim?
forgot 2 add: hospital said she will never be able to lift her arm. and i have to like help her get dressed and reach things for her etc.
