my sister in law has just inherited her nans house ut has been told that she has pay huge solicitors fees which is making her sick with worrie. Inheritance tax isnt a problem as she is married and the estate is not worth no more than 300k. Does anyone know of the figures that she has been told about and are they that much or is it just people talking about what they dont know about ???????

Have her talk to a solicitor. There are plenty of them that will talk to people for free.
There is nothing to worry about here. The worst case is that she'll need to take a small loan secured on the property to pay all the fees. But if she doesn't want to do that she could just sell it.
In any case getting a free house is not something you should be worried sick about.
