I decided to separate with my husband and move on with my kids.Do I have to sign legal papers infornt of the solicitor or have a witness or can I just sign and post / fax /email it back to them? also we're selling the house , again do i have to sign infront of solicitor because i have already move out of the area so just wondering if i need to find a solicitor in the new area or can i use the solicitor where i use to live ?

No I would'nt sign anything with out consulting my attorney.You never know what they have hidden in the pages. so just tell who ever it is requesting your signature to shove it. and that you'll have your attorney contact them. you should be having your attorney doing all that stuff for you.

It depends on the state you live in. If your doing it yourself, or with a witness, it's always good to sign in front of them, this way it is true. But, when it comes to legal documents, always have them notarized, this makes it official.

ALWAYS USE A LAWYER.... never sign anything legal unless you have a lawyer look at it. You never know what he has hidden in the papers. to much Legal Mombo Jombo in those papers...
