What does an accident benefits claims adjuster do?
Hi,I wanted to know if anybody could advise me and give a thorough description of what an accident benefits adjuster/advisor does. Or to lead me to a website which has a description as to what they do.

They talk to the people making the claim; assess the damages, and decide how much to pay. Then they apply the policy coverage to what they think they should pay, and set up the checks to pay.
Claims adjusting has a really high burnout rate. 30% of the people you talk to will be lying to you. You just don't know for sure, which 30%. 100% are unhappy, because something bad just happened. Many have no idea what their policy covers, and YOU will be the one to deliver the bad news, that they bought crappy coverage. They will be verbally abusive, and you will have to take it.
You couldn't pay me enough to do claims.
