i am a bicycle rider and i made a left turn to cross a street. It was not at a crosswalk. I was struck by a motorist a about 40 mph on a 25mph street; the motorist sped away. It was a hit and run incident and a pedestrian nearby (the witness) chased down the motorist all the way to his home. The motorist agreed to return to the scene after being threatened by the witness. Extensive damage to my bicycle, a severe concussion, and neck and back injuries we"re a few of the things i have been suffering with. The officer decided that is WAS NOT a hit and run, which i and my family do not agree with, and the man who hit me and caused me much injury is walking away with nothing. He didnt even recieve a citation. What are my options? what can i do ? I need serious legal adviceAnswer by Obviously Arbitrary!
