On wars that we cannot win - They claim the surge is winning the war when the surge can never win the war, the only thing that can win that war is for the Iraqi government to come together as one unit and THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, NOT IN 1 YEAR, 15 YEARS OR 100 YEARS!

Why do "Conservatives" call themselves "Conservative" when they are the EXACT OPPOSITE of "Conservative"?
The reason we do not hear anything about the war is because the republicans have put a lid on war reports before the election. The truth is the insurgents once again have scattered like the cockroaches they are while Baghdad may be quieter, the Mosul area has exploded in violence and nothing about this is being reported!

Easy, because they arent conservative at all. They are republican. Dont confuse the two.
Democrats are politically socialist but fiscally conservative, whilst Repubs are politically conservative (usually) and fiscally socialist (Bush has sent us into the largest deficit in American history.)

First of all, all conservatives are republican, but not all republicans are conservative. You are confused on this matter.
Also, the surge IS working. That is why you dont hear much about it on the liberal media. Casualties are markedly down since the surge began.

I'd argue this point with you but it is no longer valid in this election. Even if you take McCain's joke about bombing Iran (admittedly in bad taste) for truth that he intends to do so, Obama has freely admitted to planning on invading Pakistan. So, one would have to reason they both want a new war. Second, Obama's campaign has come out and said that at least 80,000 troops will remain in Iraq at least until 2010 - possibly beyond. So, he is no longer bringing all the troops home.

What is a conservative? Surely there aren't any in this administration. This administration has increased the size of the federal government, so much for their smaller government.
This administration has created massive debt for America with their borrow and spend mentality. This administration still has done nothing to secure our borders, so much for being strong on national security. This administration when questioned about anything...can't seem to recall. Republicans like spending money on wars because they see enemies everywhere, democrats being one of those enemies, so it only makes sense they don't want our tax dollars spent on democrats. Oh what a tangled web they weave, when at first they practice to deceive.

Its hard to believe how many people just can't get off that Koolaid. Both sides of the isles are guilty of it. What happened to balanced budget amendment act? You got the same kind of public education that the majority of us got and have had the same opportunities. Barrack and Michelle took advantage of them. If you aren't intelligent enough to take advantage of them then that's your problem. Not anyone elses. You are your own keeper in this country and the sooner you learn that the better off you will be. No ones responsible for the housing crisis except the home owners themselves. Congress and Senate get salary and insurance for life, no matter how long the serve. Government workers in Washington get their transit paid to go to work. You should watch CSPAN sometimes. There is alot of this going on.
