If you have killed or hurt somebody and or if you wanna claim insurance then call the traffic cops and get a report from him.Go to a garage and file for insurance.
Else it is not really required for you to report accidents to the police.

I was born and raised there until I was 24. Now after 28 years out of there when I visit , I DO NOT drive. If are driving there and happen to get into an accident, try to settle on the scene with the other party before big crowd gathers. If you have waited long enough for the crowd... May God Save You from them.
