I just had surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome in my left arm. It took a doctor and referral a surgeon a month or so when the surgeon told me it was work related. Ironically when I reported it the next day, I got "laid off" due to attendance issues from going to the doctor with notes. What is the average settlement for this type of injury with a lawyer?

I have the same type of injury. After my employers Dr said that I was not really Injured,I got an Attorney.I found out that I have severe cubital tunnel syndrome,My employer laid me off as well, which they should not have done.Depending on how good an Attorney that you may have or will get,you may receive between 10,000 and 15,000 if you chose compromise and release,But You may get less for a stipulated finding and reward.
An Attorney may only take 12 percent. What an Attorney can collect on a workers Comp Case is very limited.
Take care
