I got fired from my job (i have a new job now)
And i have seen my solicitor who advised me to go on a lie detector test which will cost 700 quid.
I have been under hypnosis which i stated i was innocent.
I got fired for something i did not do some guy changed a password and blamed it on me and 2 other people heard it was me when it was not so they made statements.
I do not want my job back just my name cleared.
In the meeting i was not allowed a union rep or any witness which is against the law,
Nobody at that branch knows i am taking them to court only the main company depot

Basically, a lie detector measures your pulse, your respiration, and your skin conductivity.
It pretty much measures your nervousness. Lie detectors, or polygraphs, are not always correct, they are often considered as pseudoscience. Search pseudoscience on wikipedia.

A POLYGRAPH (there is NO SUCH THING as a lie detector) is primarily an investigative tool. In the US, it is NOT evidence in court. Your use of language implies you are in the UK. I don't know if a polygraph is admissible in your country.
For the purpose of clearing your name, there is no such thing as evidence. People will believe what they believe, regardless of the facts.
