If witnessed and signed.. they are just as legal as any other will...

Answer by what
You take your printed will to any notary public and sign it. It then is very binding.

I would rather pay an attorney in my State and be sure that it covers all the bases than to try and do it myself. I believe in using professionals and paying them their just fees in order to get things right.

HOW the will is written is legally meaningless. You could hand write the will on a stained napkin and it would be legal. The benefit of using an attorney is they PROBABLY know how to be sure the LEGAL meaning of the will matches what you WANT it to mean. SOME on-line sites are very good, but you can't ask them questions.
