The person has a law degree in Mexico. He wants to practice law in the United States. Is there a way he can re-validate his license, take certain tests, or etc. to practice law in the state of Louisiana?

The link below lists the rules & regulations to practice in Louisiana. The person obviously needs to be eligible to work in the US - he can't take the bar in hopes of getting a work visa if he's not currently a USC or LPR. The state of Louisiana also requires 14 credit hours in certain subjects from a ABA accredited law school and a finding of equivalency before a committee for the foreign law degree. He'll also have to pass the character & fitness evaluation before being allowed to sit for the bar. Then if he passes the bar and submits (and passes) the paperwork & evaluations, he'd be able to practice in the state of Louisiana ONLY - other states have other rules.
