Solicitors: New plan?

We all know that solicitors like to knock on our doors to get our business (for their monetary or religious gains). We all know that we get charged for goods and services at businesses, and get charged tithings at churches. Why don't we get paid for solicitors taking up our own personal time in our homes or at our front doors?

The way I see it is this, we own the home, the property, and the time they are taking up is also our own. So why don't we get paid? We didn't ask them to come and disturb us. We didn't ask to be pitched to. They didn't schedule an appointment, they just showed up without an invite and demand that we give them our attention. So why shouldn't they pay us for the privilege of our time and our attention for their pitch about their goods, services or religion, that we didn't ask for in the first place? Shouldn't we also be entitled to a fee for giving our time and attention to them?

Seems to me, I read a story where a guy posted that solicitors would be charged $ 50 for his time.
It was taken to court and he won.
The judge must not of liked solicitors either.
Give it a try. Maybe you can make money off THEM.

You have a choice to give them your attention or not.
This is honestly no less absurd than billing a company after watching their advertisement on television. Or charging someone who asks you the time. When you voluntarily give someone your attention you have no claim, morally or legally, to demand anything in return.
