These calls from Hollander Law Offices do not address me by name, do not indicate what I owe or for whom I owe this money only that I call them. A detail credit report I recently received did not indicate any outstanding bills and that I have not had any late payments. Under what obligation am I under and what response should I give?

I would guess it is a scam and if they end up talking to you do not give out any information. Have them provide you with the name of the account holder, the account number, and other information

No bill = no pay. You should be notified of your debts.

"Within five days after you are first contacted, the collector must send you a written notice telling you the amount of money you owe; the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money; and what action to take if you believe you do not owe the money."

You can request they send you a letter outlining the statement, the claimant as well as the nature and date of the debt incurred.

Send the law firm/bill collectors a registered letter stating that you owe no one and that they are required to stop calling you ( Federal Law).
If they persist complain to the Bar Association of your State ( in writing) and to the US attorney in your City.
It will stop.
By the way, copy the law firm on your complaints to the Bar and US attorney.
Federal Law prohibits collectors from calling at your home if you tell them to stop and forbids them from calling you at your place of business if, similarly, you tell them not to.

I would not call the number they gave you, but look them up in the phone book and call them. Make them send you something in writing. Your identity could have been stolen, or they could be the scam artists trying to get personal info out of you. Do NOT verify anything over the phone, not one single thing.
