ive been a victim of fraud Ive been screwed by a company that had me paying double my electric bill and when I searched them on the Internet there was no history of them. all I had was a phone number somone answered and canceled the service but it did not get cancled. ( I found out next month when I got my bill ) these people come with fake ids and fake info and ask for recent bills so they can give me a discount.little did I know it was all fake And I did not understand since I used to live in an apartment and did not have to pay utilities. now that enersource has fixed the problem I put a sign on my door that says something like no peddlers, solicitors or agents. but a year later this company comes trying to get me to subscribe to there Internet/phone service I was at my friends house thats like 4 units down from my house 1 guy was at the front and my friend kept getting him to leave and was closing the door but the guy trying to get him to subscribe kept on pushing the door talking fast and putting his foot in to door. then my friend was yelling at the guy to leave he did not so I walked up and asked to guy what do you have to offer? as the sales man was talking he stepped back and moved his foot as he was talking I slammed the door on his face he then kept knocking and he left. then a lady came to the front Isaid I wasn't interested and I closed the door. I then called my mom and told her to not answer the door because those annoying sales people are back she said ok. then when I came home another guy came and asked what phone/Internet service I had I said bell he said he could get me a deal I told him angrily that could he not see the sign on the door like I made it so the sin shines on it and you can see it and above door bell I put a shinly arrow pointing to the sign how the hell could he not see that I mean its the first thing you see when you walk up and the door bell lights up too. I know he saw it but he says sorry I didn't see it and he left. then again the bell rings this time hes only offering home phone when I told him to leave he said hes not finished explaining and I said im finished hearing and I toldhim that I would call my security ( I don't have any ) and they will fine him and what ever company hes from or they will hand them over to the police and they will make sure they leave and if they get back they will be heavily fined he then left now the next I see the one of those sales people ring my door bell can I yell out my window and say If I see you ring my door bell One more time or knock my door I will come out and beat the crap out of you because I probably will like im pissed off now they have the nerve to come back. is there any way I can legally kick the shit out of them? I did not think so what can I do?

Do not assault them or you will go to jail. If they show up again, immediatly call the police. That should solve the problem. It is illegal for them to force their way into your apartment. It is breaking and entering, or home invasion, which is a felony. The second they show up, call the police.

Ask to see their license. They usually have to get a license from the county. If they don't have one call the police. There's an extended family that travels around the U.S. scamming people. Roofs, house painting, you name it. Maybe they're part of it.

Try a new sign.....
"Dear Uninvited Guests: I have this weird reaction to my doorbell and knocks on my door. When I hear them, they cause me to throw 10 gallon buckets of water at the person who rang the bell or knocked on the door. My 10 gallon buckets broke this morning so I've upgraded...Go ahead, push the bell!"

If they keep harassing you, esp. not letting you close the door and forcing it open you can call the police.
For minor ones, say, "Thats great, but i can offer you something even better" and try to sell your toaster, kitchen chairs, television, cutlery, etc to him, and keep interrupting him, sayin, "but wait! It also has this power cable, easily, plugged into your wall!" or "but thats not all! buy now and recieve a free pen!!" they'll get p**sed off and leave.
