I got a letter from a 'locator of unclaimed funds' saying that they had located a very large amount of money for a business i am a part of.
I checked all the government websites for unclaimed property but to no avail. Is this a scam? It is a very large amount over 20k. what should I do? I am hesitant to call this guy.

Yeah it's definitely a scam. The only possibility that it isn't is if you believe that you have over 20K of unclaimed funds for some reason...
But even that doesn't make sense because he's claiming to have located a 'large amount of money for a business i am a part of.'
The 'located' money would go to the business, not directly to you.
He'll probably want you to send him a fee to collect this 'located' money.
