my 1 year old daughter, ex-partner and i are going through the family court i have a solicitor and both my daughter has a barrister and ex-partner also has a barrister. does this put me in any sort of advantage or disadvantage? whats the difference?

BARRISTERS STAND UP IN COURT AND DEFEND THE CLIENT.
SOLICITORS DO THE PAPERWORK.
Both extremely overpriced!
