that is ludicrous. and the response time is still slow for these claimants.
but, we are winning. too bad that the tools we used to achieve this "victory" wear out.

Nothing new! The history of our military since the beginning of WWI tells us that once the war is over & everybody had all the photo ops with the servicemen they can get, it is "to hell with the veterans". If you are in doubt, read the history of the military & their relationship with your government. bush is doing the same thing in this war. He blows tells the troops in Iraq how much he appreciates their service. Look at the mess in our military hospitals & the veterans administration. This will never change unless we, the voters, change the faces in congress.
