I was in an accident at a very low rate of speed, in fact below 15mph. I have no damage to my vehicle at all, not even a scratch! Now 3 days after the accident he is claiming injuries. He was more than fine enough to come yelling and screaming at me flailing his arms when it happened, and I'm not even sure the damage done to his vehicle was from my truck! Any suggestions on what I can do to protect myself in this situation?

Since you have admitted to hitting him, you owe for any damage to his person or vehicle. Do what you should have done 3 days ago, and notify your insurance of the accident. They will assign you an incident number. When the police report is ready, get a copy and make sure your agent has that also. Call the person you hit, and give him the agents phone number and the incident number. Insurance will take it from there.
To protect yourself in these situations, don't run into others at any speed.

Tom is right. Insurance companies are very good at sniffing out bogus or inflated claims, so let them handle it. That's what you pay them for..

The insurance companies have a name for this; LIST
Low Impact Soft Tissue injuries; ie; whiplash aka sprain/strain.
call your insurance company asap; they will take photos of your damages-none and also of the other car. so say this guys ends up treating for $ 2K, they may deny it stating that due to the impact of your car and his, how in the world can he have these injuries?
if this guys sues you, fine, your insurance company will hire a lawyer for YOU AT NO EXPENSE.
call your insurance company today............
good luck
