In the past, Human Resource personnel failed to inform me that I was due a settlement, but I heard through personal contacts, after it was too late, that I could have been paid a settlement for carpal tunnel and a ruptured spinal disc.
Anyway, that's spilled milk, but now I have incurred another injury that will require surgery, and I would like to get everything that is due to me.
Any help would be more than greatly appreciated.

Just file the claim and the wheels will start to turn.

You aren't due a 'settlement'. There is no pain & suffering with Workers Comp.

Settlements, are payment up front, for future medical costs and future lost wages if you're permanently disabled.

If you have an accident at work, workman's compensation will normally pay for any medical bills soon after the forms are filled out.

However if it is not obvious that the injury was work related, you will likely have to hire a lawyer to assist in your workman's compensation claim.
