Dude, you're jumping the gun here.

Getting that lawyer, is going to mean that 40% of what the insurance company gives you, goes to the lawyer. It's an open and shut case.

You want to give away 40% right off the bat, not even hearing what the insurance company's offer is?? Sounds like the lawyer is going to make out best of all.

I wouldn't use a no win no fee firm in this case. Use your own insurance, that's what it's there for. If they are accepting liability then you wont lose your no claims bonus. Also, make sure you have in writing that they have accepted liability.

In any personal injury (PI), it is always a no win, no fee case, regardless of what lawyer you get.

The other company has accepted fault, but they are stating that just in case they question your whiplash, you could lose. The lawyers will do nothing on your car damages, but are interested in your PI only.

What they want is to get you to sign an agreement for their legal services -standard, but they want your own personal insurance info to claim most likely your medical bills for your injuries.

The question is, how much will they get? The standard is 33%, but if they charge more, then get another lawyer. The only time they charge more if it goes into suit and then the standard is 40% which is rare, since most cases are just handled by telephone and correspondence period. The only times it goes into a lawsuit if your lawyer asks for $ 10,000 and the insurance company offers only $ 1,500. But even in a lawsuit, could end up with $ 1,500, since a lawsuit is not a guarantee more, but possibly less.
