My parents were told my arm would be fine(Erbs Palsy) when I turned around 16-18, so they left it at that now I thought mabye I could go after my own compensation from my injury is this possible?

Wrong forum, you should try in the legal area.

I'd say no, probably not, though. It's been too long. You generally don't get money for a doctor not being right, so long as they did everything they know to do. If they were right about your condition, but wrong about your prognosis, it's not really their fault that you didn't follow trends. It would have been nice if they had informed you or your parents that you have a chance of not recovering.

In fact, I'm willing to bet that they did. Doctors are told to never tell you that you WILL recover if there is a chance that you won't. They say stuff like "You will likely be fine, though there is a chance otherwise", or "I like your odds."

Still, I think the statute of limitations would prevent you from getting anything at all.
