the solicitors that dealt with adoption in canada in 1976 no longer exist. Im in the u.k ive tried going thru telephone listings in the canadian yellow pages and white pages. no joy. don't know what to do now

The only thing i can think of is to try the Children's Aid Society, there used to be rules on adoption. Only the adoptee could decide if their names could be released, but that might have changed. It would help greatly if you also knew the city in which they were adopted to, and from
