My bf is in a custody battle with his ex-girlfriend/mother of his 2 yr old daughter. He is currently goin through the courts to see her but she is being extremly difficult, he knows it will get resolved he will just have to wait. Today we drove past her flat and it was all boarded up. This means she has moved their daughter to somewhere else that he is unaware of without informing him or his solicitor.. is this legal? he is on the birth certificate but they were never married.

You sound like you're in the UK, so maybe someone has a better answer, but in the US this all depends on any existing court orders. In other words, if there isn't an agreement already in place that she can't do this, then it's perfectly legal for her to move with the baby. However, if a visitation was set up though the courts and she violated it, that's different, but in that case, the first time she refused to see him, she could have been jailed for contempt of court that same day. So I'm guessing no papers have been filed.

Could be legal, maybe, depends on the state and the state's laws. Unfortunately, this is a very thorny issue. If he doesn't know where she is, kind of hard to take her to court.

No, It's no legal, she can get in a lot of trouble, if she think that she is in any danger she has to go to the police station and reported.
he is the father and she is not right,

well i can tell you all about this one. first you say that the father is on
the birth certificate. but was he ever married to his mother. the reason
i ask you that is because the laws in the united states and all the states. gives an un wed mother sole custody of said child. the only
wrights the man has is the wright to pay child support. and she can
take the child any where she wants too. now the father of the child
can file for visitation which will cost approximately $ 3000.00 are more
and then the father must find out where the child is where he can
serve the mother papers. now if his father was married to his mother
he can put a stop to it.
