The law does not say how much an insurance company has to pay you.

The insurance company will review the medical records and bills. They will review the damage to the vehicles involved - and they will make an offer.

It is different for each situation. I don't think there is any one set law that could cover every individual personal injury case. It depends on the extent on the injury. Check with a personal injury lawyer, most of them will offer a free consultation first.
