It drives me crazy when people come to my door advertising things, also when banks calling me daily trying to borrow me money(with high interest rates), when I'm already in debt.

i just hang up on the phone people. if it is a recording, i try to listen all the way to the end because sometimes they do give you an option to press a button to get removed from their lists. if it is a live person i just hang up.
as for the ones that come to your door just pretend you dont speak english or answer with a satanic bible in your hand

You can put up a sign at your door that says "No Solicitation" for the walk ups. For the calls, go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ and get yourself on the list. Keep in mind that if you do business with a company they are still allowed to call you...
And if your state has a separate "do not call" list get on that, too

theres this thing called a 'do not call list'
go to donotcall.gov and put in your number.
in 30 days it'll stop all the calls. c:

well for the people who come to your door ,it is easy put a sign on your door "dog food is expensive ,salesmen are welcome" lol and for the calling ,it is just a machine lol

I screen my calls. Let the answering machine pick them up.
I do not answer the door unless it is someone I know.
my dog barking so loudly is really a nice deterrent that makes them think twice about knocking on my door. lol
