i was in an accident in january, i was pulling out of a driveway and a car struck the passengers side, they took a police report and everything, the other car the frnt bumper came off, yesterday i got a call that i had a claim for $ 9,000 because that person got hurt. The fault was mine. When the police report was done, she said that she was not hurt that no ambulance was needed, ow the insurance company tells me she did get hurt....how does this work or what can i do? is it legal to do a claim after 5 mnths of the accident?
how come is she doing her claim that she got hurt if she had already said that she was okay???

Yes it is legal, just let your insurance company handle it. They will decide whether to settle or contest her claim, it's their call. Your rates will probably go up, but this won't come out of your pocket in the short term. That's what you have insurance for.

Yes, it's still within the time limits for her to make an injury claim. In many cases, someone involved in a collision will not feel pain at the scene of the accident, but may begin to feel their injuries hours or even days later, after the shock of the accident wears off. It happens, and it's completely legitimate. Just because she said she was okay at the scene, it doesn't mean she really was okay.
