We have had a downward economy since 1996-1997, and many people have lost their jobs. Many of these people had very good jobs and could support their families. Due to whatever circumstances many have not regained those jobs back and have had to seek out whatever they could find and do (e.g., taking a sales job, taking a phone solicitor job, taking a part-time office assistant job) that does not pay any where near what they were making before. These people are still not back to where they should be, and time is passing. They are getting older and many of these people were the middle and older workers when they lost their jobs. I would like some comments on those that have not found a good paying job still and those that have. I want to read about their stories and their difficulties during their searches and successes, if any and if not any. I would like to know what job they lost, their age, gender, city/state, family responsiblities, and anything else they would like to share.

I suggest you look MUCH more closely at your statistics again. The economy has been climbing at an incredible rate. Unemployment is at it's lowest ever! I find that if I want a job all I have to do is apply for it and I get it....

JOB= Just Over Broke.

Don't ask for a job- EVER!

I worked for Corporate American Pigs all my career, and said "Get trucked" - or something like that.

I started doing things for people that they couldn't do for themselves, and it has paid off really well.

My own formula for personal success-
Do what you love to do, and find a way to make it pay.
