Hi, we are currently getting a home loan in Australia and the parents are acting as guarantors. The problem is that they are holiday in the UK. Whilst we can send the documentation to them for signing, they apparently need to get independent legal advice. Our questions is, can this:
a) be provided over the phone from Australia
b) face-to-face with a UK qualified solicitor, or
c) does it have to be face-to-face with a Australian qualified solicitor?
Any advice very much appreciated.

i dont think they would accept any kind of help will be acceptable over the phone because if u think about it you could be talking to a checkout girl in ASDA !!
i wouldve thought a uk solicitor face to face will be sifficient to help.
