£1,000 and have confirmed it is their final offer.

Accident advice - claim help! ?
I had an accident in a store due to their negligence. They immediatley admitted liability. However I dont have legal representation at the moment and they have offered me a low amount! they said its their final offer! but to be honest is it a good offer for a slip? and injured back? and I am still seeing the physio! should I go through one of the no win no fee solicitors? thanks

no, see a lawyer, the lawyer should be happy to take the case since you don't pay and he could win, then he gets paid and so do you.

so

Go to a lawyer.

Stores will always give you a lowball offer in hopes that you will take it and not seek representation. It will take some time, a year or two, but a lawyer will get you more money and will work on a contigency basis so it wont cost you anything.

It depends on your injury, treatment, medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering duration. Without all of the facts, it is difficult to evaluate your claim.
You should find out what is the time limit for filing suit. Make sure you don't run out of time.
If you are still treating, you should not settle. You don't know what future problems you may have.
I suggest you consult with a solicitor and pay him a fee for his time to evaluate your case. You can then make a demand for settlement.

You're getting lowballed, for sure. This is common practice for the insurance companies. They also throw around terms like "final offer" and other BS when in reality their legal team hasn't even seen this claim, you're still with the first adjuster.

Get a personal injury attorney to take a look at your case and see what he thinks, usually even with their percentage you end up with significantly more money.

No don't accept it.

Contact a lawyer. They have offered you money and they know they were in wrong. Contact a lawyer first for advice say about the offering and what injuries you have and how much the physio is etc and compensation depends on many factors:

* Loss of earnings, including overtime and bonuses
* Travel to and from medical appointments
* Any medication
* Care given by members of your family or others
* Damage caused to any of your personal effects

If they think you can get more and its good enough for them they will take it on but if not except the £1000.
