my partner of 9 years was killed in a hit and run accident 3 years ago leaving me with 3 little children.i signed up with a solictior to seek compensation a few months later.i have continuesly found out and reported to my solicitor any information needed for my cas to help i have even completed paper work and contacted companies to find information needed as my solicitor was taking so long to do so i was under a conditional fee agreement which means all disbursments my solictior had to pay out ie for police and doctors records were paid for and after i won the case money would be taken out of my compensation to cover any bills, but i have still found myself paying for some disbursments out of my own pocket. recently i found out the person driving the car that killed my partner was uninsured so now i have no case..i has taken my solictior 3 years to find these details it took him 2 years to even contacted an insurance company..i know the driver involved issued false insurance documents but surely it shouldnt have taken 3 years for him to find this out should it?plus after this was discovered my solictior advised me to sue the driver personally and that i would have to find 1700 court fees he didnt tell me that i entitled to free fee remission.there in my eyes has been so many floors in my case i am seriously considering sueing my solicitor what do u think have i got a case????thank u for taking the time to read thisxxxxxxxx

Wow. It certainly sounds as if there has been some professional negligence. I don't know how the laws are where you live, but in my state you would probably have a case against this attorney. Of course, you'd have to hire a better attorney in order to pursue it, but it doesn't sound like that would be too difficult.
