I was involved in a car accident last January when I was 4 months pregnant and suffered severe whiplash. I had physio for as long as I could without my baby bump being affected. Because I was heavily pregnant I had to stop going for physio, and the pain did ease slightly. I received a letter from the solicitors saying I would get £2000 if I settled the claim then, I did as we needed the money with a baby on the way. But. . . my back problems have increased dramatically, I am in constant pain and am going for physio every fortnight (referred by Doctor). I just wondered if I could claim more compensation as the problems are still ongoing or if I have already received £2000 that will be it?? Any advice please!!

It's very doubtful that you could get more compensation. When you settle, that's generally one of the stipulations of the settlement. Either way, though, you should pose the question to an attorney. You may be able to get more money if it hasn't been very long since the incident.
