a friend of mine is giving me a piece of small land on a farm for my horse as a present,so i am wondering since it has to be transferred to my name we have to go through solicitors,so i would like to know do most solicitors want the money for doing this upfront,or can they do payment plans?since i have to pay both solicitors and i am on a minimum wage job i do not know how to go about this,do they usually want the money in full or they wont finish the process of transferring it over,or give me the deeds until they are paid?how does that work can i have advice please thank you

Unless you know the solicitors personally, there is no way they will accept a payment plan. Even if you do, it is unlikely that they would either.
