I should clarify. I am asking if you would choose five years of playoff appearances without a Super Bowl win or four years straight of no playoff appearances with a Super Bowl win coming on the fifth year.

super bowl

I'll take the one Super Bowl win everytime

Probably getting to the playoffs five straight years as long as I didn't know ahead of time they would lose. I know I will prob be in the minority but is one game worth not doing as well in about 90 other games, I don't think so

consistency is key.. i'd rather see my team in the playoffs, year in and year out, rather than just have one remarkable year.. eventually (if they're making it every year) they'll get the superbowl win..
but if you're talking about five years of getting eliminated in the wildcard round, then i'll take the superbowl win.

Super Bowl win. Getting in the playoffs five years in a row puts you in lower draft pick order.

Superbowl. Who cares if you go to the play-offs 5 years in a row? You don't win anything. The whole point of the play-offs is to win the Superbowl. I would take winning a Superbowl but not making the playoffs for another 100 years then making the play-offs but losing each time 100 years in a row. At least you win something.
