I am in year 9 and we are picking our GCSE options. I am very good at maths and quite good at english. Thanks in advance x

i don't think it will matter so much what you pick at gcse, make sure you have a language and you do well in your english and maths. it only really matters when you get to a level. but make sure you are choosing subjects you will enjoy and work well at. history might be a good idea too.

Take social sciences e.g. history and any political classes ( in Scotland we have something called modern studies which is basically politics for schools, I don't know what the equivalent is in England). Take at least one science as well at GCSE level to show you are capable of a range of subjects, as a Law degree is a very challenging course and University's normally take the highest quality candidates.
