I never give my # out to anyone weird just close family and friends but lately I have kept getting these weird calls from places across the country. Arkansa, Oklahoma, and California judging by the area codes. Before that I had gotten a couple of strange calls from local #s too. There was a guy who claimed he found my number on a piece of paper in his home and he just wanted to call it and see who it was. Another guy claimed that this must be his friend "Will's number" but kept calling and texting asking if it was will. This alarmed me and I thought it was very strange, I think it could be someone wanted to track my phone. All a person has to do to do that is get you to answer your phone or call them back. But again, I never give out my number to solicitors or businesses, just close friends and family so I don't know how it got out. What do you think could be happening?

My sister's phone has the same problem. It might be a security leak from your mobile company. I would get my number changed and inform your carrier about it.

Have you signed up on any recent websites? Did you go to a college fair and fill out a questionnaire? Did you take a servey online?

You don't say how long you have had the phone number. When we first got one of our phones, we were getting calls from some bill collectors. I kept telling them I just got this number and have no idea who they are talking about. It took me about 2 months to get all of them to believe me.
So, what I am saying here is maybe they are looking for the person who had the phone number before you. Use to the phone companies wouldn't re-issue numbers for at least 6 to 12 months. Now I don't think they even wait 3 months. Hope this helps you to understand what might be happening.
