not to give advice or collect money or appear in court....just to create one (letter head/or like a intro letter) to send to a few companies to scare them and get their attention...letter would state "we represent X)
is this illegal?
(im worried for my friend shes needs a letter for a law firm n cannot afford a lawyer to write or represent her)
my friend wants to do it not me ; )
how does being incorporated help?

Want to go to jail for fraud? If so, go ahead and do it.

You are comitting fraud.

You do not have a law degree, no right to practice law, are not incorporated, and are not a law firm.

Really bad idea.

Try legal aid.

You're probably committing fraud and definitely opening yourself up to criminal charges for practicing law without a license.

Incorporation for the purpose of breaking a law makes things worse, not better.

She will be guilty of practicing law without a license. It is easy and prudent for anyone getting a nastygram like that to check the license, and I am guessing your friend will be completely incapable of writing convincing legalese anyway.
