I recently bought a blackberry pearl through ebay. Seller shipped and i got her confirmation number. Now, the usps people are saying it was "delivered" I called the postmaster..."delivered" means it fit in my box. well my package was 8x6x6...no way in heck that thing fit. So, No insurance. YES I KNOW. they wont do much about anything with no insurance, but isnt there a way to move around this? ITS THEIR FAULT! How could they mark this incorrectly? The box weighed almost 2 pounds! So is it possible to win a claim if they marked it "delivered" and i have documentation from usps claiming its size and weight? I sure as heck DIDNT receive the package, and it has my $ 200 phone in it! What can i do to ensure my package gets to me? It was scanned in my town, but both post offices claim they havent seen it...but DID scan it at my station. Is this a theft? or did they screw up and give it to someone else? IT WAS SENT PRIORITY MAIL. HELPPPP! (its been 2 days since it said it was delivered)
Its a P.O.Box.
And it was a Ebay seller...she doesnt have a second blackberry.
ITS A POST OFFICE BOX!

Probably delivered to the wrong place or they left it on your doorstep and someone stole it?
Answer by ipeanuts
that happened to me, just call the local USPS and they will ask some information, then they will contact the sender and then the sender will send another. the insurance is covered in shipping and handling.

sounds like some neighborhood punk has a new blackberry!! And it aint the postmans fault, if you werent smart enough to insure it, then too bad, it aint his fault .....he did all that was required for that package....just deliver it.

Delivery confirmation means the package was delivered the moment it was put in the mail box or left in front of your door and signature is not required. There is a possibility that it was left at your front door and someone took the package.
My advice, buy insurance.

Ask them to check to see if it is laying around somewhere because it was too big to fit in your box. Usually what they do for something that won't fit in your box is they put it in a special box for big stuff and give you a key to the special box. If they are saying that it was delivered to your PO Box and you never got it, then it sounds like an inside job. Does anyone else have a key to your box? If not contact the Postal Inspectors. Here is a link to their website.
