Legal Practice Course

if i have a LLB do i stil need a LPC?

Answer by JB
That depends what you mean by a 'law job'. If you want to be a legal secretary or paralegal, an LLB is usually enough. If you want to be a solicitor, the LPC is compulsory. If you want to be a barrister, you don't need the LPC, but you have to do the BVC. Only solicitors and barristers are 'lawyers' - legal secretaries and paralegals just provide administrative support. So, a law job, but not a lawyer, and with a lower salary and fewer opportunities for career progression.
