Please help!
It is my ambition to study law at Oxford University and has been for a while now. i achieved 7A*, 3As and a B at GCSE and have 4 As at A level. I also have an Open University module. I have had work experience in two solicitors offices and a placement at the magistrates court. I also read widely around the law in both areas of fiction ( John Grisham being my favourite) and non-fiction ( H.L.A. Hart on The Concept of Law is proving particularly inspirational). I may also be attending an Oxbridge applications access day.
However, i feel that this has all been said before and is the so called norm for law hopefulls in Oxford. What could i possibly do extra to show my passion and commitement to the subject of law?
Any help would be gratefuly recieved
P.s. any hints and tips on books or websites for LNAT preperation would also be a great help :)

So far, from what you have said, you have lots of things which will make your application stand out. If you get invited to an interview, make sure to show that you have an enthusiasm towards your subject.

You've got a lot better than I got in with, so you ought to make it. That said the interview counts for a lot. Bear in mind that the people interviewing you will likely to seeing you a lot for the next 3 years. They'll be looking for someone who they will enjoy teaching as well as someone who is clever and committed.
You'll be expected to know about, and have an opinion, on anything important that's happened, law wise, shortly before the interview, so I'd advise looking at the law section of the Times Online.
At interview, I was given the full text of a House of Lords judgment to read... so you might want to have a look at some case reports - from the All England Law Reports ( or the Appeal Cases reports) to get a feel for and understanding of the lay out.
Any idea which college you're going for?
Best of Luck
P.S. Loved Hart in Jurisprudence. On the other hand never really got Finnis, Dworkin or Raz.
