landlord but don't have the money to pay for an attorney? I know that our legal aid has stopped a lot of its services so that wouldn't be the best option.

Lawyers are provided for defense in criminal cases only.

No place provides lawyers for civil court cases, you are on your own.

Betsy is right. Contact the county bar association to see if they can arrange for you to have "pro bono" representation by a volunteer attorney.
