I have completed my Masters Course recently and my Student Visa is going to expire on 28th June 2010. I want to apply for Post Study Work (PSW) on 23rd March. So please can anyone confirm how safe it is to apply for PSW three months in advance of my Student Visa expire date. As one of the UK solicitors stated it is NOT possible to apply in advance. And I should go to India in the month of April.

You should apply to stay as soon as possible and before your current leave runs out. Home office encourages to apply one month before your leave runs out. Do not apply before 6th April 2010, at present the PSW fee is £500, after 6th April £315.
