my medical bills are 2300 including ER, x-rays, doctor visits and medicine. I got a sprain in my left foot after I triped and fell from the stairs. they were wet and there were no signs. the pain lasted 1 month. so besides the medical bills how much should I get for pain and suffering?

There is no "right" answer to that question. Unfortunately that is why the question is usually answered by a judge, jury, or arbitration. Depends, too on what you tort caps are in the state where you live. In many cases the legal environment is such that the pursuit of the claim would be so expensive that no attorney would take the case

That depends on the level of your loss, and whether a judge might want to punish the organisation that caused you the loss.
